Jewellery Care

Silver and plating both react to sulphur, which is found in air, sweat, perfume, cosmetics, rubber and many household chemicals. A little care keeps your SIMVOLI piece bright for years.

Every day

• Put your jewellery on last, after perfume, lotion and make-up. Take it off first.
• Wipe it gently with a soft, dry cotton cloth after wearing.
• Store each piece on its own in its SIMVOLI pouch or an airtight zip bag, away from moisture.

Avoid

• Spraying perfume, deodorant or hairspray near your jewellery.
• Wearing it while bathing, swimming, exercising, cooking or cleaning.
• Toothpaste, baking soda, dips or abrasive polish, especially on plated pieces. They remove plating.
• Storing pieces with rubber bands, or loose together where they can scratch.

Plated pieces

Rhodium, rose gold and gold plating are thin layers. Never rub or polish them hard. If a plated piece looks dull, wipe it gently with a dry cloth and contact us.

Our services

• Gold on Silver: one free re-plating within one year of the invoice date.
• Sterling silver: we clean silver in the traditional way and return it.
• Rose gold: plating is not covered, so please follow this guide closely.
